He Trod Away..

He trod away,
On his way
Far away.

Along waves
Of Green,
By the lanes
Of Earth.

Nature beckons,
Sends summon.
As birds chirp,
A sermon.

The grass blades
In the glades,
Snip his palms.
As he wades.
A faint cut,
Permits Passage.

Her Eyes follow,
Longing sprouts,
Pearly tears
Adorn Her
Lids.

His frame flames
And fades Over
The horizon.
Her heart freezes
Into the Dark,
Fringes Of Stillness
Within.

~
He trod away,
On his way,
Far away.
